Elves are HERE

Just in time for your Holiday projects! It's been a few years since my whimsical characters have been offered in clipart format so I've pulled a few images from my Little Elf Upon a Shelf storybook illustrations as well as some of my favorite Christmas holidays characters and made them available in my Creative Market Digital Design Store .  You'll also find two great sets of coordinating Christmas Holiday themed background prints that you can mix and match with any of the clipart collections.  So go ahead and get your Holiday crafting started today because the Elves are here and ready to give you a hand with any project you have in mind! CREATIVE AND FREE

This painting was originally created in 2000 as a cover for a scrapbook I was working on.  It was made using acrylic paint that was thinned with water in lieu of watercolors.  I particularly like this medium because it dries fast, colors don’t bleed together, it allows for a light transparent watercolor “feel” to the work and lends itself well to my style of pen and ink detailing technique.  If you think this project may be a bit too creatively challenging for you, feel free to use the pattern along with any medium you feel most comfortable with.  The main objective here is to get creative and enjoy...so why not   Go For It !  Scroll to the bottom of this post to find the free pattern...just right click and save. STICK TO IT...LITERALLY!

Let's Talk "Sticky" As a lifelong artisan and crafter, I've spent hard earned cash on an endless variety of adhesive products for all types of crafting surfaces and projects. Whenever I start a project, I expect the necessary products to perform as advertised by the manufacturer to justify the expense of the supplies used. I have found that few adhesive products used on my many craft projects have actually held up to the test of time over the years.  However, there are several outstanding adhesive products I continue to personally use over and over again for my papercrafts, scrapbooking and cardmaking projects.  Many of you are already using some of the products I'll be discussing today, but for those who are new to the paper arts, you might want to check these out for yourselves.
