Favorite Harvest Recipes

Favorite Lang Family Harvest Recipes I was digging for my no-cook Cranberry Relish recipe today to add to our Thanksgiving Gathering dinner menu and discovered 5 other family recipes that are perfect for the Harvest Season.  As many of you know, I've got a very good track record for kitchen disasters...I even set the dinner table on fire during a holiday feast one year!   Since the relish requires no cooking and I've made it several times without killing off a single family member, it's safe to say this recipes has been proven to be fool-proof!   My son, Jeff is a skilled chef in the kitchen and we always look forward to his culinary delights.  His wife, Naomi provides us with homegrown treats from her organic garden gatherings and her jams, jellies and pies are always welcome gifts.  I've also included a pork loin recipe created by my sister, Kathy and her husband, Andy who never fail to surprise us with their culinary skills and tasty recipes.   I hope you

Freshly Brewed Smiles!

Annie Lang's favorite Keurig Brewed Sunshine recipe!   The cold winter winds are still brewing outside while I'm brewing up some morning sunshine inside!  After taking a digital snapshot  of my breakfast this morning, I thought I'd scrap it in Photoshop while enjoying my morning brew.  Hope you enjoy this Recipe...and while you're at it, don't forget to SMILE!

Treat yourself to some Fireside Treats!

Girl Scout cookies have finally arrived so I stoked up the fireplace and settled in for an absolutely delightful treat! I do love s'mores, but often find them to be too large, too messy and chocolate bars are just too thick to my liking.  Here's how I make my s'mores with a twist, using Thin Mints and Samoas Girl Scout cookies.  This also works great with fudge stripe cookies.  It's a quick, easy and fun treat for party entertaining, too...just provide a plate of cookies and marshmallows, hand your guests a fireside fork and watch them enjoy!
