I've always been an avid book reader which explains why my bookworm characters are so very near and dear to my heart.  In 2014, these endearing little characters appeared in my very first published children's book title " Bookworms Know Stuff " and were later translated into fabric prints, clipart collections, pattern books, merchandise and more.  But even more rewarding is being asked to introduce my characters in a classroom book reading setting where energetic and enthusiastic children are totally captivated by the story and illustrations presented to them.  Kids are totally engaged when it comes to storytelling adventures and watching their imaginations soar is nothing short of priceless!  It still amazes me that our young children very much enjoy the experience of group book reading sessions as they discover the magic with each and every page they turn.  It really is true that when you share a book, you'll make a friend and a new little bookworm will pass it

Bright and cheery Bookworms make reading a little more fun for the kids!  Just print out this colorful reading list and let them see how many books they can add to it.  It's always nice to add a little reward, too so why not use some bookworm character cutouts as small incentives?  Simply print and cut out the motifs to create stickers, magnets and fun craftables to inspire them to progress through their book titles.  Mount them on stars or heart shapes cut from color cardstock and write a positive message on the back.  Hang the shapes from color ribbon to create danglers and watch your bookworms be amazed as they hang each one as a reminder that Bookworms really DO know stuff ! Now that summer is quickly disappearing, it's time to get ready for Bookworm Season!  My bookworms have been "front and center" for me all summer long as I get ready to FINALLY release my very first Children's Book within the next week or so.  While you wait with me...here's a quick how-to video I made yesterday that I hope you'll enjoy and share with your friends and family.  Now that the book is making it's way through the publishing process, I'm hoping to have a bit more time to keep up with this Blog, my Pinterest Page and add a few more workbook titles to my Book Store so that you can get started on your Holiday projects.  What a summer this has been!
